This project is dedicated to cooperate to the disclosure and promotion of the alternative thinking to design new 
social and economic options. 

Preventive and therapeutic factor.

The design is based upon a radical and efficient integration of Biodynamic researches.

Only the "V" reclined position can procure:

1.- An integral neuromuscular relaxation by minimizing gravity effects and symptoms originated by the occupational stress.

2.- An optimization of the cardiovascular functions during an everlasting immobile position, avoiding the chronic buildup of circulatory troubles such as variculosis, phlebitis, swelling ankles, etc.

The philosophy of the design could shock people keeping the archaic prejudices of associating relaxation and leisure. The Computer is an essentially different tool from any tool so far used in the human evolution.

                                  Preventive and therapeutic factor.

The ZW is a preventive factor and eventually a curative factor during the work time for people enduring circulatory and/or psychosomatic problems originated by the stress.

The reclined en V position is the only adequate position for an intensive and prolonged use of the Computer. Due the fact that, psychosomatic relaxation optimizes human intellectual performance, blood circulation and minimize pathological consequences of psychological stress

Summary of the design's philosophy

The ZW offers a radically new concept of the PC work station through a different spatial positioning of the Computer elements and the operating posture.

Purposes are confirmed by the experience: physical relaxation, improvement of mental concentration, neutralization of pathological effect of biofeedback phenomenon linked with intellectual creativity and correlated effects on the neuromuscular and circulatory system.

Experience show also that Computer user's typical inflammatory pain will vanish working during extensive period with the ZW and eventually reappears in a usual sitting position.
A severe occurrence of MSI related symptoms have motivated the present particular examination of physiological inconvenience related to the intensive Computer work under psychological stress.
The analysis suggest a coincidence of the occurrence of severe inflammatory and circulatory symptoms and psychological stress, like to the description made by the pioneers of the biofeedback science en the 70, known as the fight or flight reflex. Phenomena occurring in the archaic zone of the human brain and produced by the mental association of psychological insecurity with archaic survival reflex. That reflex activating nervous and endocrine influx required to for a fight/run condition finally aborted by the rational cerebral zone.
Such cumulative phenomena producing severe and multiple inflammatory disorders. More recently glucocorticoid, an hormone induced by similar psychological stress factors was identified to block the anti-inflammatory natural cell inmunologic defense. Stand up and normal sitting postures require the complex stabilizing activity of the autonomous nervous system, to counteract the gravity force on the basically unstable vertical animal. A position that minimizes gravity acceleration consequence on human physiology will have a relaxing effect .

Scientific research has showed that the body in a "V" position and the leg resting at the hart level will disconnect most of the neuromuscular tension.
The result is a general state of psychosomatic relaxation. It is proved that relaxation is a principal factor for the optimum activity of the natural human immune system against inflammatory and infectious aggression. Therefore, obviously gravity effects and unconscious reflexes associated to psychological stress are component of the multiple Stress injuries' problems. Logical inference coherent with the considered hypothesis, will only fit, with a workstation offering the most effective somatic relaxation.

The Zephinie Workstation function aim to optimize neuromuscular relaxation of the body to minimize or prevent in particular inflammatory syndromes.The result is an extremely effective working condition.
Beside the eventual anguish to lost the theirs job, many Millions of peoples over 45 years old have circulatory problems due to permanent sitting position.
The ZW working position also offers some well known therapeutic advantages regarding the lowers' members circulatory disorders. Other factors cooperate probably in the complex MSI occurrence.
Hypnotic like phenomena may be generated by the specific concentration produced by the Computer use. Obviously the Reclined "V'' position will be also positive in this matter.
